Comments Left on AVC.com Regarding Virtual Currencies

The blog of venture capitalist Fred Wilson is my favorite blog, and by a wide margin. I’ve shared many thoughts regarding virtual currencies on Fred’s blog over the years. In this section I’ve included some of the comments that I thought would be most appropriate for inclusion in this book. The title of each comment refers to the title of the post on Fred’s blog (avc.com). I highly recommend readers search for the entry on Fred’s blog and read the comment in the entire context of the blog discussion. As Fred’s blog attracts many intelligent Internet thinkers, reading the comments in the discussions on his blog can be a very worthwhile experience for Internet entrepreneurs, in my opinion.  

For better or worse, my sense of humor comes through in some of these comments. In such instances, do not mistake the comical aspects of my comments as being insincere. As the adage goes, where there is humor, there is truth.  

I also refer to Fred in some instances as “Boss” – this is an old joke.
