loyalty to niche social networks will replace/subvert nationalism....as niche social networks become our true emotional/psychological communities, they will be the most natural place to integrate virtual currencies and commerce.....in doing so they will free tehmselves of economic dependence upon nation states (and will prove themselves to be far more efficient than nation states -- though admittedly that's not too hard).....  

blog stars are gonna change the world, boss. or, more correctly, blog star communities are going to change the world.
