Rails Developer
FastPencil is looking for a Ruby on Rails developer to help us build the next generation of self-publishing software. We’re a small team looking for someone self-motivated and up for a challenge.

- working with big names to create products for self-publishing print and ebooks, and pushing those books into major retailers

You should:
- not be afraid to wear multiple hats, from developer, to devops, to dba
- be able to work in downtown Minneapolis three days a week, remotely other days
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of extensive Ruby on Rails experience, with a Rails site in production
- Familiarity with Git or SVN
Nice to haves:
- an active GitHub account
- we’re a JRuby shop, so Java or JVM experience is a big plus
- experience with any of the following: PostgreSQL, Chef, OpenStack, AWS, Coffeescript, Bootstrap.js, JBoss/TorqueBox, Haml, Sass
- publishing industry experience
