from Geo Murph
I have been a professional Chef for over twenty years. I trained at the Cordon Bleu in Europe; I worked extensively in Michelin rated hotels and restaurants; I currently teach the Culinary Arts in a restaurant class on Fine Dining to “at risk” kids in a vocational program in San Francisco.
I became "burned out’ working as a Chef, and decided to go back to school; I did my B.A. in German, and I have a good knowledge of several languages- a few years ago, I completed an M.A. in Education- with a thesis focusing on fast food, obesity, and our current health concerns in America in relationship to food.
I have a profound understanding of all related areas to food and education; sustainability, local vs. agribusiness farming, organics, vegetarianism, vegan cuisine, as well as classical cuisines, French, German, all types of regional Italian, American, Indian, etc.
I currently also do consulting in Education, and have done extensive editing, writing, tutoring and motivation in most fields of education, ( both academic and vocational), as well as curriculum planning, Nutrition, Travel, Histories and Geographies of Foods, etc.
I love to write, I have always been a writer, and I have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. I am fast, motivated to motivate others, and always supportive and honest. I would love to help you achieve and excel in your writing endeavors- your success is of utmost importance to me.
I look forward to assisting and answering any questions or providing a consultation of your work- Thanks so much! Georgia
