Purpose: Controlling Our Fear By Controlling Our Desires

Summary: Many Christians teach the prosperity verses from the Bible and ignore the verses warning about wealth. This short story teaches God's desires for our lives concerning wealth and how God would have us to balance our desires for riches with the understanding of what God knows is truly important.

The Greatest Love began with a story for a young man who tried to commit suicide. Having been through that type of depression and come out of it to find a new life with God's help, I put my story into a booklet to share with him. He said it changed his life.

Surviving and thriving through an abundance of trials, from rape to abuse to divorce to sickness, I felt compelled by God to share these stories and the stories from others to help people cope with problems in their own lives. Many stories are shared for free on the web site, including the first story, Death Wish, and the first page of each book.

We designed these small books to hand a friend in their times of trouble. A story is often more helpful than anything we can say. We are also hoping some day that the profits from the small books might offset the mounting expenses we have incurred from operating the web site. But, mostly, we just hope..and pray..that others find the help they need through God and our stories.
