The chapters in this book are cameos about my growing up in a rural area of Oklahoma during the 1930s. Each cameo is about my memories of growing up during the Great Depression and how my family and the people in the community survived the lack of steady jobs. It also includes how we were affected by some of the acts of the United States Congress during those years.
