Stephanie Grant was born in Wales (quite a while ago) and lived there happily with her family and numerous animals. She later spent a lot of time peering down microscopes and playing with test tubes which brought in the semblance of an income. After marriage to her long-suffering husband and the arrival of three wonderful children, not to mention moving to Germany and later the U.S.A. she decided to get a real job.
She loves to paint and draw especially wildlife and pets many of which form the basis for her illustrations.
Her first book the Diva Dog’s Guide was inspired by the many pets and their people that she met whilst a co/owner of PawZessions Dog Bakery and Pet Boutique near Los Angeles.
She now lives in California where her husband, children, dogs, cats, rats, turtles, and fish provide an endless source of inspiration.
