A Family Memoir
I decided to write this book of life experiences for many different reasons. First of all, I wanted to challenge myself. Out of all the challenges I faced in life, sharing this story was by far the most demanding. Often times, I confronted challenges with all words and no action. I never worked to my full potential. In school I was content with being a "C" student, even though I knew I was capable of more. Writing this book gave me the power to live out my dreams and face my fears. I just hope to inspire others, so that they may follow their dreams too. Everyone has dreams, especially those living in despair searching for a way out. This story illustrates the idea that people are not always subjected to becoming products of their environment. My grandmother was a hustler, which made my mother a hustler too. The only way I avoided incarceration and death, was by taking those concepts and crafting my very own artistic hustle. Contact the author for speaking engagements and book signings:
