Poems That Dance
Poems That Dance expresses daily experiences in a light and bright way. There is sun and sound everywhere. The author’s words are fresh, joyful and playful and this is what children are and need. "A story of poems that can be read in a hundred different ways." Datya Aston "The author's poems are very well written. She has very good wording and the poems are so child-friendly and educational for small children. "You & Me. Me & You" is cleverly done. Children will very much enjoy her simplistic and colorful style of poetry." Jaleesa McLean "Brilliantly creative, delightfully readable. The author reaches children without talking down to them. And it's FUN. Kids are learning almost without realizing it. The author has an amazing imagination. How does she do it? She relates so well to children. With her it is art more than science. She is a born teacher. I love the way the pictures relate to the poems so creatively and tie the book together!" David W. Aston "I love her poems. They are great, stories that children can most definitely relate to and enjoy. I can see this book in a Montessori classroom, inspiring the children to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences, and inviting them to begin writing their own poems!" Siti Ahmad-Rudebaugh Children of all ages enjoy the authentic experiences expressed in each poem like a flowing beautiful dance. The book helps children discover the world in their own special way. The beautifully illustrated lyrics stimulate their curiosity and creativity. Poems That Dance is the author's third book. Maria Grujicic is a new and exciting writer who has at least 16 years teaching experience and travel around the world. She has also published ASTRELLA By Bike To Australia And Back and Spring And Sing. It has an exotic island feel and it is where I hold my roots as a nature girl in the wide open free spaces. I've lived in the bigger cities London, Madrid, Albacete, and Frankfurt where I joined a Tribal Fusion Dance group which enhanced my artistic and personal life. The mix of finding love, being abroad, dance and developing unique friendships with artists alike led me to write in abundance. I was involved in innovative dance projects with adults and children. In a short period of time I published several books of poetry. I absolutely adore the sensations of Europe and I hope to return as often as I can. Travel, love, life and true friendship is the why I write. |
