Poems That Dance
A Gentle Fire
A story of poems About Life, Love and Travel. Intelligent and imaginative perspectives are sought as obstacles unravel a mystery. An intimate life, spiced with dance as identity is peeled away with an aim of ultimately revealing a truth. The intricacies of life made pleasurable by a soft stable heart beat and a melodic dance. The art of writing is the art of discovering what you believe.— Gustave Flaubert 'Poems That Dance features photographs of a short life span of travel through Greece, the place I searched for my roots. The journey of travel is illustrated to accompany a dance, a fertile dance that releases my grace for life.' Maria Grujicic
Maria Grujicic is a new and exciting writer who has at least 16 years teaching experience and travel around the world. She is currently involved with innovative dance projects. I'm Australian and I live in Darwin, the beautiful capital city of the Northern Territory. It has an exotic island feel and it is where I hold my roots as a 'nature girl' in the wide open free spaces. I've lived in the bigger cities London, Madrid, Albacete, and Frankfurt am main, Germany for the past 10 years, and I have just returned home. Greek is my mother tongue though I was educated in English. I started traveling in search of my Greek roots and I absolutely adore the sensations of Europe. Through my travels I learned Spanish, some German and I'm learning Serbian because my wonderful, adoring husband is from Serbia. Dance is like a stable heart beat in my life and have enjoyed different styles over my life along with writing. I have a deep interest in Education that has led me to develop my career abroad. Now my hope is that this inspiration will stay and grow in me as I venture onto other exciting projects. |
