Over the last 15 years, Gaye. I. Clemson, a resident of Canoe Lake has been collecting stories and recollections from fellow Algonquin Park residents in an effort to capture the voices and history of this vibrant community. Ghosts of Canoe Lake, is the fifth book in her series of insights into a group that has been and continues to be an integral part of the historical fabric of this majestic place in Northern Ontario. In summer she can be found on Canoe Lake or at algonquinparkheritage.com. In winter she resides in Capitola, CA with her twin sons.
A 25+-year veteran in the high-tech industry, Gaye I. Clemson has deep roots in sales, major account marketing, customer support and international business. She is a leading edge ‘Best Practices’ innovator in strategic planning, customer experience analytics, business process improvement, organizational performance measurement systems and portfolio management.
Clemson is also an oral historian with 8 books to her credit. Seven about a small community in northern Ontario, Canada and the most recent one an oral history of Tandem Computers based on social media sources. Four have been published by FAst Pencil.
