A comedic look on my time as an employee at Pier 1 Imports. This story uses my own personal experiences to convey a message about the notion of work in American society and how we view and judge different professions and vocations based on their profitability.

My name is Marc, I'm 23 years old, and I have been writing short fiction for almost four years now with a little non-fiction here and there. I write genre fiction such as psychological horror, sci-fi, fantasy, autobiographical fiction, and comedy. I have had one short story published in a compilation book called "Comic Tales".
Aside from writing, I run a website that helps people learn foreign languages and I love music, movies, TV, cooking, reading, and swimming.
