As a family physician for over twenty-five years, I saw how important it was to optimal health care to develop a good patient-physician relationship. In the debate about health care in this country, this no-cost, crucial aspect is often overlooked. To that end, I have written a nonfiction book entitled: How to Be Your Doctor's Favorite Patient--And Get the Care You Need, using dozens of insightful and humorous vignettes based on situations I have encountered in a primary care setting, and am currently looking to have the book published.
