I grew up with cartoons, Bob Ross and Imagination Station in my early years.
In my teenage years, Watching Cape Fear is what drew me to tattoos. I still have a love for them, especially prison tattoos. And yet, to date the only tattoo I have (which isn't really a tattoo at all) is a faint, small dot of India ink that Christy and I gave ourselves in Science class when we were freshmen.
4AD album artwork from 23 Envelope inspired me to pursue graphic design, which lead me to Brooks College in Long Beach Calif. in my mid years graduating with an Associates degree in visual communication.
In my later years, after college, I got a position at a clothing manufacturer designing prints and eventually doing their graphics.
Switched to graphic and web design at a technology/engineering company and eventually went behind the veil and am currently a web programmer by day.
Now, drawing is what balances me out from all the left-brained activity.
