Dr. Linda Banner is a health psychologist and sex therapist with a private practice in San Jose, California. She has done clinical research in the areas of male and female sexual functioning and brain imaging with fMRI and sexual arousal at Stanford Medical Center for the past thirteen years. She has appeared in several sex education videos. She completed her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at The Fielding Institute and her doctoral research at Stanford Medical Center. Dr. Banner has presented at many national and international meetings for psychology, urology, gynecology, and sexology for nearly twenty years. She is a member of the International Society for Sexual Medicine. She has recently completed chapters in medical textbooks, as well as published her own book on Advanced Sexual Techniques. Her new area of research focuses on bridging the mind-body connection in the context of sexuality and self-esteem.
