My literary journey starts in the 60s, in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil. It started a few years after the military dictatorship took place, at the age of 12. I started writing a Sci-Fi novel, Aventuras Submarinas, largely based on Jules Verne's Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea.
Besides being a poet and writer, I'm a Journalist and have a Master of Science in Computer Science and Public Administration. I live in Canada for 10 years and became Canadian in 2005.
With my two main blogs, Verapoiesis and Global Will, I'm pursuing new free publishing mechanisms that can help me on recovering the origins of literature as art for the sake of art, and the direct contact between author and reader.
I believe there is a new form of freedom for artists to explore with new technologies that empower personal and creative artistic expression. I have published five books.
