Mariska Taylor-Darko was born in Manchester, England, went to school in England and Ghana, West Africa and is a writer,poet and motivational speaker and has performed live in both London and Ghana. She has had poems and articles published in magazines, on blogs and poetry websites and is an active organiser of youth empowerment programmes. She has worked as an accountant, beautician, careworker for the elderly,legal secretary, and nursery assistant. She is a Fire Walker and is a mother of two boys.
