As an author, journalist, creative director, screenwriter, songwriter and composer, I have created a unique career that bridges the worlds of music, film, fiction and nonfiction, as well as corporate communications and advertising.

Born in Chicago, I studied at the American Conservatory of Music, and worked for several 4A's advertising agencies as a copywriter and producer. After moving to New York, I pursued a career in music as a studio singer, songwriter and performer with my band, “Bloody Mary,” while freelancing articles and speeches for the business community.

In 2008 I was awarded a Fellowship in Music Composition by the NY Foundation for the Arts.

I have completed two novels, and have recently signed with the Book Cents Literary Agency.
