Hello fellow carbon-based lifeforms! I currently write a column for Crawdaddy!, The Magazine of Rock (crawdaddy.com). It's called Riot Gear! and you can find it under Features on the site. I also write for Premier Guitar magazine (premierguitar.com). I just did a smashing Alex Lifeson interview for them, and am officially late on my next assignment but only by 1 day and it was a tough assignment. I've written shorts and poems, won awards for both, and thanks to Fast Pencil I am about to power thru draft 8 (yipes!) of my novel. I also play guitar in the band SWORDFIGHT.
I would love to meet other writers and possibly do a web-based group thing.

Authors I dig: John Steinbeck is perhaps my favorite (not terribly original, I know), I love HP Lovecraft and EA Poe though I write nothing like either of them, I love Twain and Stephen King and Chabon and Garrison Keiller too. In other words, I like all the writers it is probably uncool to like.
