Michael Quinn (mquinn09)

Mike started with the Minneapolis Police Department in 1975. He worked in a variety of assignments in both uniform, plain clothes, and Internal Affairs. Mike supervised the Robbery Decoy Unit, the Repeat Offender Program, and shifts at the 3rd and 5th Precinct. He spent his last four years in Minneapolis as the Academy Supervisor where he oversaw the training of over 350 recruits. Mike was a member of the Minneapolis Emergency Response Unit for 17 years. In 2005 Mike wrote and published “Walking With the Devil: The Police Code of Silence.” He has been an invited speaker on the subject of police ethics and accountability at Hamline Law School, Normandale Community College, Minnesota State University at St. Cloud, NACOLE National Conference in Miami, National Association of Canadian Police Boards Conference, Edmonton, AB., Loras College, Darlington, WI., Gulfport, MS, Police Department , RCMP Police College, and the 2009 National Police Accountability Conference, Calgary, AB.
