Aloha!

My name is Jada Rufo and I am former American English teacher to China. I have been in China from 1995-2005 and from 2007-2009. I am also an Asian American which makes my teaching experience different from most of my colleagues who are Caucasian.

I would like to share some of my experiences with people and add my voice to such famous Chinese American writers such as Iris Chang and Leslie T. Chang. I have never read a story of an Asian American (I'm half Chinese half Filipino) going to their ancestral homeland to teach English.

I'm also looking into being a China consultant in the future. I've read on the Internet that if I want to be a consultant then I have to get published. Hence my first book titled "Banana Girl".
